I've heard of myspace and my sister told me that you have to put a picture of yourself on your profile. Is that true?

NO you don't have to put a picture on there. Everyone can see it even if you have your profile set to private. You could always have a picture of something other than yourself.
Or, you can have no picture.

I find myspace to be pretty accessible with jaws, only once in a while do I have to use the jaws cursor to change my song or the order of my friends. You're welcome to add me, I have the link in my profile.

they took away the ability to turn off the song playing on profiles. I used to be able to hit b for the buttons and found it that way. Now there's nothing there.
Yeah, that kinda sucks, although I like to listen to the songs people put up on their page.
The songs also repeat so no more waiting for the song to be over so you can look at the profile.

Doesn't myspace have so many capchas? I had one, then canceled it. I had to put in a code whenever i wanted to update my profile, post something, change my friends, add someone, request some one, it just got annoying. About the top friends, U have to use the mouse to move the pictures around. If they take ome of the codes away, I'll think of rejoining it.
Yeah, I had one a few years ago, but between the captias and all the stuff on the pages, I didn't find it particularly accessible and deleted mine. I prefer lj and facebook, though that last one isn't the best in terms of accessibility either.
I figured out how to arrange top friends, but I forgot, lol. You have to use the jaws cursor, and the "drag and drop" thing. It's cumbersome, but it works.
Facebook is accessible, just navigate by headings.
Yep Facebook is accessible. There's still some improvements it could use but I find it easier to navigate. I find My Space hard to use because of the captchas and losing focus with jaws all the time when I go to a link.

Use the Jaws cursor, put it on the name of the friend you want to move, and press control+insert+numb pad slash. Then move the cursor to the place where you want the selected friend to be, and press control+insert+numb pad slash again. That should drag and drop them. And if you're using the laptop layout, the command is control+caps lock+8. My Jaws cursor is being a bitch and not reading everything it should be, but normally it works, even though it does take a while.
And as for the original question, I do have Myspace, but I don't share it unless I know you and the original poster already has it anyway. Lol. I haven't found it to be a problem as far as accessibility goes, except for the music player thing, and I actually prefer it over Facebook.

shut off the flash plugin, set your stuff to classic, and tell it to tell captia to go fuck itself in spam settings. all accomplished through ie. then the main myspace page, log in go to account settings and do it that way, as for top friends, i dont do that adding songs to profiles, ain't been abkle to do it. I got facebook, and myspace.
